In 2017 McDonald’s launched the McDonald’s app and with that Mobile Ordering. A process where consumers could construct their order on the go and then activate it in store.
Our aim was to make this process clear to the audience. We tackled it by making the app element as clear as possible, by using 'app' playfully within headers and also using simple mobile iconography.
The features of the app were also called out using an icon style. For example ordering on the go and saving favourites.
